Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated September 14, 2026

The quick summary

  • Use Playflow for lawful video hosting and legitimate collaboration.
  • Respect rights, people, viewers, workspaces, and the platform's security.
  • Contact us first about unusual traffic or a security concern whenever it is safe to do so.

This summary is here to be read, not relied on. The numbered rules below are the policy.

1Scope and relationship to the Terms

In this policy, 'Playflow', 'we' and 'us' mean the company that operates the Playflow service together with its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors and assigns. Playflow is the controller of the personal data described here.

This Acceptable Use Policy expands Section 7 of the Terms of Service. It applies to your account, your members, your content, viewers, integrations, and every request made through Playflow.

2Prohibited content

Do not store, upload, publish, stream, link to, or distribute content that:

  • Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights, or that you do not have permission to use.
  • Is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, or designed to facilitate unlawful conduct.
  • Contains child sexual abuse material, sexual exploitation, or sexual content involving a minor. We report this material to the authorities without exception.
  • Threatens, harasses, stalks, doxxes, or incites violence against a person or protected group.
  • Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, self-harm, or dangerous criminal activity.
  • Contains malware, ransomware, phishing, credential theft, malicious code, or instructions intended to compromise another system.
  • Exposes sensitive personal information without a lawful reason or meaningful consent.

3Prohibited conduct

  • Do not evade access controls, rate limits, storage limits, billing, workspace isolation, or product safeguards.
  • Do not probe, scan, attack, reverse engineer, scrape, or load test Playflow or another workspace without written permission.
  • Do not use another person's account, impersonate a person or company, or misrepresent your relationship with Playflow.
  • Do not send spam, run scams, distribute unsolicited bulk messages, or use embeds to deceive or track viewers.
  • Do not resell Playflow or make it available as a competing service unless we agree in writing.
  • Do not interfere with another customer's service, consume resources in a way that harms others, or use automation outside documented interfaces.

4Fair use and contact first

Playflow has no bandwidth cap for normal use. If a workspace generates traffic, requests, storage, or playback far outside ordinary use, contact support@getplayflow.co first so we can understand the workload and find a safe plan. We will work with you before restricting ordinary service where it is safe and lawful, but we may act immediately to protect people, data, or platform availability.

5Reporting and security safe harbor

Report suspected abuse to support@getplayflow.co. Send security research and vulnerabilities to security@getplayflow.co with enough detail for us to reproduce the issue. Good-faith research that avoids privacy violations, data access, service disruption, and persistence is welcome. We will not pursue a researcher for a good-faith report that follows these rules. Do not publicly disclose an issue or access data that is not yours before giving us a reasonable opportunity to respond.

6Enforcement

We may investigate reports, preserve evidence, remove prohibited content, limit features, suspend members, or suspend or terminate a workspace. We will give notice and a chance to respond when safe and lawful, except where urgent action is needed to protect people, comply with law, preserve evidence, or prevent further harm. We may refer suspected illegal activity to appropriate authorities.

If we restrict your workspace, contact support@getplayflow.co with the workspace, relevant facts, and steps you took to fix the issue. We may restore access when the risk is resolved.

Questions

Write to us and we will answer. We would rather explain something than have you guess.
