Features
Edge CDN delivery, adaptive streaming and separate workspaces keep client video ready for real use. Each feature lists the plans it comes with.
01 · Library and teamwork
Keep client work separate while your team moves quickly between workspaces.
Switch between separate workspaces, search nested folders, move items, set visibility and apply bulk actions. Folder analytics include direct videos, not videos in nested folders.
Track the queue, then pause, resume or retry. Exact-file recovery lasts 24 hours with the original file. Possible duplicates are flagged by name, size and type.
Max file size: Harbor 2 GiB · Marina 10 GiB · Fleet 50 GiB
Invite members, manage seats and enforce permission groups. Build custom groups on Marina and Fleet.
Seats: Harbor 2 · Marina 25 · Fleet 100
Review the workspace action history, with its own exports kept separate from analytics CSVs.
02 · Branding and player
Set workspace defaults, then override the details on any single video.
Style your player per workspace, per video, or right from your page with the Player API.
Pull colors and a logo from a website. Set accent, progress and control colors, and readable foregrounds are derived for you.
Discovered logos are a preview until you upload them.
Workspace assets with per-video visibility overrides, with watermark corner, opacity and size. Both can link out with tracking and referrer controls.
During an active trial the watermark is optional in player settings. After the trial ends, the Playflow watermark appears on every video until effective paid access is active, including an operator-managed paid assignment and cannot be turned off.
Upload or capture a poster with Default, Darken or Tint treatment. Pick full or floating controls and set title fade timing.
Speed, quality, captions, fullscreen, picture-in-picture, loop, remembered sound, and autoplay off, muted or with sound where browsers allow. Choose Starting quality and preload without autoplay, with weak-connection fallback and data-saver support. Streams in up to 1080p on every plan, and in 4K at up to 60 frames per second with the 4K add-on.
Upload in 4K and your viewers get it in 4K: up to 3840 × 2160 at up to 60 frames per second. The player adapts to each viewer's screen and connection, stepping up to 4K when there's room and never stalling to get there. Start every video at 4K, or at the quality you choose. Talk to sales to add it.
Show, hide, move or resize the big Play and Replay circles, so they never sit on top of a button you placed. Set it per video, as a workspace default, or from the Player API.
Controls follow the player’s own width: full at 640 px and up, compact from 480 to 639 px, and small below 480 px. Volume and chapters move into settings on small players, while fullscreen stays visible.
Double-tap to skip 10 seconds, controls that hide during playback, a remembered sound choice, reduced-motion support and automatic recovery when a viewer returns to the tab.
Player colors are checked against the pairs viewers actually see. A warning names the pair, its ratio and the floor it needs.
03 · Interactivity
Place clickable buttons, hotspots and text on the timeline, then see who reached them and who clicked.
Add up to 20 overlays per video, each shown for a time range you set on the Interactive timeline.
Open a link, jump to a time, pause, or send an event to your page through the Player API. Text can also be display only.
Give text overlays a color or a two-color gradient, corner radius, soft or strong shadow, an icon beside the label, and a hover state. Hotspots can show a pulsing marker.
Positions follow the video picture in every layout, including fullscreen, on phones and in embeds, served from our CDN with the rest of the player.
See reached, clicks, click rate and a simple funnel per overlay, with markers on the engagement curve. Explore analytics.
For any part of the video, move, resize or hide the Play and Replay circles, for example beside a Give button at the end.
04 · Publishing and protection
Hosted playback or responsive embeds, with clear controls over who sees what, and where.
Publish Playflow-hosted watch pages, or use a responsive iframe or script embed. All with playback telemetry. Use the minimal embed: one workspace script and a div with only the video ID.
Choose public, unlisted or private for every video. Password gates carry your workspace branding and keep tracking parameters through the unlock.
Passwords: Marina + Fleet
Allow lists and block lists per workspace, with per-video overrides. A block always wins, and you choose whether the Playflow watch page is allowed.
A branded card replaces the player, and blocked attempts are counted by site.
Watch pages, embeds and manifests are served from our CDN, separately from the app, so eligible already-published videos can play independently. Password unlocks and other app-dependent actions still need the app. Saved changes publish asynchronously; check the video’s publication status.
Hosted watch pages ship with Open Graph and Twitter player cards, VideoObject markup and oEmbed, so links preview properly in email, Slack and search.
Custom domains are available on Fleet. Serve your watch pages and embeds from your own hostname. Talk to sales and we’ll set it up with you.

06 · Measurement
Viewing patterns at whatever level of the library matters to you. Detailed analytics history varies by plan; compare plans.
Plays, unique viewers, watch time and engagement. Set what counts as finished at 50, 75, 90 or 100 percent. Team plays are handled separately.
See where viewers drop off and which parts they rewatch, second by second.
Named-viewer attribution requires the Player API. Send player events to your own analytics or CRM and tie them to signed-in users under your customer’s consent policy.
Move between video, folder and workspace views, then inspect where playback came from.
Geography tables alongside viewing performance. Viewer identity can be unavailable rather than zero.
Hourly for the last 24 hours, or 7, 30, 90 days, 12 months or custom. Compare periods and overlay two metrics.
Logo and watermark links can add UTM parameters and the embedding site. Existing UTM values stay as they are.

07 · Editing and portability
Make controlled edits, then manage originals and archives on Fleet.
Replace video keeps the video ID and embeds, offers a 48-hour restore window, and lets you keep analytics or start fresh. File-version analytics keep different source lengths separate and preserve earlier history.
Trim, crop, cut segments out, remove audio or change volume. Renders run in the background with history, cancel and revert.
Retain, archive and restore original masters, and download originals through an expiring link.
Requires configured storage
Exports with status, progress, email and a manifest of any per-video failures.
The default archive cap is 100 GiB · archives expire after 7 days
08 · Developer platform and migration
Automate supported operations and move source data, with clear limits on both.
Promise-based controls and events for script and iframe embeds. Send engagement to your own analytics or CRM, unlock next steps when a video ends, or build custom controls. No API key needed.
Scoped, revocable keys for videos, uploads, folders, members, analytics, captions, chapters and original downloads.
Marina 10 keys · 600 req/min · Fleet 50 keys · 1,200 req/min
Signed events for video readiness, updates, errors, deletion, visibility, captions, chapters, interactive item changes, uploads, members and storage thresholds. Six retries, a delivery log, resend and test events.
Marina 5 endpoints · Fleet 25 endpoints
Do Not Track is honored, analytics can be switched off per embed, and geography is reported without storing IP addresses.
Preview, import and retry, skip duplicates, map folders and backfill captions separately.

Ask Playflow and MCP
Work with your library from Ask Playflow, or from the assistant you already use. Read the assistant docs.
Connect any compatible remote MCP client with OAuth, then ask about your workspace in plain language. Connect an assistant.
Changes show a preview first and apply only when you Confirm. A preview expires after 10 minutes, and each change set touches one workspace. Undo works inline for 10 minutes and from activity for 7 days.
The assistant can do only what your role allows in that workspace. Viewers stay read-only.
Assistant actions appear in the workspace audit history alongside every other change.
The trial and Harbor are for questions and read-only answers. Marina and Fleet can also make the changes your role permits. Compare plans.
09 · Plans and account
Monthly or annual billing after the trial, with account tools throughout.
No card needed. 5 GB, 2 users, 10 videos and 1 GiB per file. When it ends, your workspace moves to the plan you picked with 14 days to add a payment method. We email the owner before anything changes. Without one, playback pauses and content may later be deleted.
Moving to a smaller plan never deletes videos, keys, endpoints or archived originals.
Monthly or annual checkout, plan changes, invoices, cancellation and payment grace.
Email support on Harbor and Marina. Fleet includes a named contact.
Common questions
Something else? Ask the team or read the docs.
Yes. The queue supports pause, resume, retry and recovery for up to 24 hours. Recovery still needs the original file. Possible duplicates are flagged from file name, size and type rather than a byte-level hash.
On Marina and Fleet, Playflow can draft chapters once a transcript is ready and the video runs at least 90 seconds. You can also write and edit chapters by hand, then publish them for navigation in the player.
Yes. Workspace and per-video allowed-site rules restrict playback to approved websites. Blocked attempts are reported separately from successful plays, and this is distinct from custom-domain hosting.
Marina and Fleet export analytics as CSV. Fleet adds expiring original-file downloads and workspace ZIP exports when storage is configured. Archives expire seven days after the request, and signed links last no more than 15 minutes.
Not on its own. Built-in reports cover plays, watch time, completion, engagement, sources, geography and team plays, without naming viewers. Named-viewer attribution is possible only when your site uses the Player JavaScript API to send play, timeupdate and ended events to your own analytics or CRM and tie them to someone your site already knows, under your own cookie and consent policy. It works on all plans, including the trial, with no API key.
Yes. Every embed includes the Player JavaScript API. Listen for events like play, pause, timeupdate, chapterchange and ended in the browser, then push them to Google Tag Manager and GA4 (start, progress milestones, complete), your CDP, or your own server for CRM recording. Keep CRM credentials on your server. On Marina and Fleet, signed webhooks and scoped API keys add server-side options.
